Skybrook: Resort-style Living
Skybrook, Skybrook North, and the Winding Walk communities are on the western edge of Cabarrus County, and spill into Mecklenburg County.
The communities are home to more the 1,300 families now, and by the time development is complete, there will be about 2,000 homes, plus 500 town-homes.
The neighborhoods are designed around an 18-hole championship golf course, and include parks and playgrounds, walking trails and sidewalks. The amenities are without peer in the area and include a fully-staffed racquet and swim club with four pools, water splashers and sprayers and a 185-foot water-slide. There is also a fitness center and ball fields.
Development began in the early 2000s on the 1,100 acre community.
Home sizes and pricing vary from $170,000 up to the mid-$500,000s. There is something for everyone here.
The location is perfect for the commute to Uptown Charlotte, the University City area, and Huntserville.
Downtown Concord isn’t far off, and it splits the distance between CMC-Northeast Medical Center, CMC-Huntersville, and CMC-University Medical Center.
